AS3: Task 5: Final Evaluation (Final Draft)

Task Five – Final Evaluation (Final Draft)

After finishing my advert and hearing from those who viewed (Audience Feedback) I have came to the conclusion the my advert was really good but could have been improved. After reviewing the advert again, after i collected the information on my advert from the audience that viewed my work i realised  where i could have improved and what i would do to improve my advert or do differently if i was to make another advert. Through all this feed back i know that the advert it self was considered good and the audience did enjoy watching the advert. I will use all the information i gathered from the audience feedback to improve in my skills in making adverts.

Firstly i asked for feedback on part 1 of the advert which was based around sports wear. The positive feedback i got  was great. My advert was complemented on how well it showed the clothes and the real life situation. The audience also liked the music i used for the sports wear advert. They also liked the creativity showed in my advert. Through all this feed back i know that the advert it self was considered good and the audience did enjoy watching the advert.

Secondly i asked for negative feedback for my feedback on how i can improve i was told that my cuts for the sports wear advert could have been more natural. I was also told that the picture quality of the video could be improved, also that is should pay closer attention to the angles i shoot my scenes in. One of the audience also commented on there not being enough shots. and that the sports wear part could have been longer. The feedback on got on how i can improve this advert was good and gave me a lot of information on how i can improve and make my adverts a lot better

Thirdly i asked for feedback on my Part 2 of the advert which was on the Spring Wear. I was once again complemented on the way i showed of all the clothes but this time for the spring wear. Furthermore the audience felt that the environment the advert was shot in really fit the advert and spring wear we are trying to sell. I was also complemented about the music and editing also that the advert was easy to follow and understand. The feedback i got from the Spring wear part of the advert was really good and i was happy that their where so many positives to it.

Finally i asked about how i could improve the advert one of the members in the audience thought it was robotic, i personally do not agree but i will take it on bored and try and improve,  someone else commented on there not being enough shots which i will definitely  work on next time and lastly people thought it was rushed. From the feedback i got on this advert has let me know that some parts of the advert that i thought was good may not actually be seen as good to the rest of audience or viewers.

AS3: Task 3: Sources of Information

Task Three – Sources of Information

I found all the pre-production i did useful it helped me with all the planning, it also allowed me and my group to stay organised. Also because we consistently updated everything we did according to make sure we did not miss anything we did out and to make sure we actually completed all of are work.

Notes

In my Pre-Production i noted down all the everything extra (ideas we came up with as a group), down this ensured that we would not forgot to add are ideas to are advert or just for schedule, e.g. if we wanted to change the time we were meeting or the location.

Sketches

At First we sketched are story board. It was essentially are first idea. this helped us out because me and my group were able to put all of are ideas out their and it did not matter if we made mistakes because it was just a draft and not the real story board. It also helped us out because we used that draft and used it as step by step guide for creating are actual storyboard.

StoryBoard

Both the Main and back up story board was useful as it kept us organised. Furthermore because of The story boards we never felt like we didn't know what we were doing. The back up story board was also useful, even though we did not use. But it was just good to know that me and my group had something to fall back on if are original idea did not work.

Shooting Schedule

Are shooting Schedule was useful because it once again kept everyone organised and on time to the the actual shoot for the advert. Which just kept everything convenient and easy.\

Risk Assessment

A risk assessment is always useful and was proven in are work as well, due to are risk assessment there where know injuries to any of are actors or cast.

Contingency Plan

The contingency plan allowed us to be prepared for anything wrong that could occurred.

Budget

It was extremely useful to me and my group when we calculated are budget because we knew how much we need to spend for props etc. Also we knew how much we had in are disposal to spend.

Audience Research

The audience research was important because we new what type of advert we needed to make. and what type of gender and age group we are trying to appeal to.

AS3: Task 2: Screening/Focus Group

Task Two – Screening/Focus Group

Those that viewed my advert thought it was good and well edited. They gave me good feedback on the editing and filming. They also gave me feedback how i can improve the advert as a whole. They all mainly had the sane opinion on the advert but when it came to ways i can improve there was a slight variation.
